Experienced, competitive, and deeply invested in the people around him, Jay Klein joins Arkansas Wolves with experience across the USL Championship, USL League Two, professional indoor soccer, and international football development.

Jay grew up playing multiple sports, with soccer, tennis, and baseball all becoming important parts of his athletic development.
His soccer career has taken him through several levels of the American game, including time with Indy Eleven in the USL Championship and St. Louis Ambush in the Major Arena Soccer League.
His outdoor experience also includes USL League Two with Portland Bangers and Dayton Dutch Lions.
But Jay’s journey extends beyond the United States. His time in South Africa gave him another perspective on football, development, culture, and the responsibility experienced players can have beyond simply playing the game.

Jay’s decision to invest in the Wolves came from feeling that same investment from the club. Strong belief from Coach Sabelo and club leadership made the opportunity personal as well as professional.

Jay’s experience in South Africa became more than another stop in his playing career.
He spent time around the professional environment with Ubuntu Football Club, training with the professional team while also coaching, teaching, and working with academy players.
That experience broadened his understanding of football development and reinforced something important to Jay: the game is ultimately about people.
That same perspective now carries into Arkansas, where he wants to contribute not only as a player but as someone invested in the culture around the Pack.
